Hey guys! Today you will begin writing your problem and solution essays! You should have an outline by now, if not, check out ( How to Make an Outline ) for more instructions!
After detailing your outline, you will begin structuring your paper. The paper should be at least 5 paragraphs long, it should present a clear thesis statement, it should discuss three main ideas about the thesis statement (which are detailed in the body of your paper) and it should always be clear to the audience.
Structure your paper to your own style but remember its main purpose: (To Present a Problem and Suggest Solutions)

Your essay should be typed, double-spaced on standard-sized paper (8.5" x 11") with 1" margins on all sides. You should use a clear font that is highly readable. APA recommends using 12 pt. Times New Roman font.
When you use any outside source for evidence or facts, remember to refer to them properly (for more instructions on citations see: citation instructions APA OWL PURDUE .
