WHAT MAKES SOMEONE A HERO?

A hero embodies qualities very hard to describe, but for me, someone is a hero if she or he is a wise person, of course, there are more qualities, for example sacrifice, strength , humbleness and motivating. I think that all of these qualities connected, let me explain you, a wise person, is someone you can trust, maybe someone who could give you advices when you need it or motivation when you feel bad, is a person who inspires you to reach  your goals and confront challenges . This type of hero could be hurt in the past and is for this she or he  motivates you. A hero sacrifices their money and time, and always is there for you. A hero is a humble person, because this way  inspires you to feel grateful with the things you have. A person who always is teaching how to be better , Is a model person who has the most noble qualities.  These qualities embody the best hero for me, wisdom, sacrifice, strength, humbleness and motivating.

What makes someone a superhero?

A Superhero is brave, fearless and just. Superheroes are brave when people need to be  defended in any situation or problem, someone who always shows courage in all situations, for example,  if an old women is attacked by a criminal, a superhero comes and saves the women. Bravery is quality very important  and indispensable show  when people need to save of danger and they confront  problems.
Superheroes are fearless all the time. Superheroes  like Batman, Wonder women,  Aqua man and others,  in many episodes on television, showed fearless when rescue people in tall building, fire house and evil person hurt or intended kill person.   Remember one episode when Superman save his girlfriend Louis Lane when  she was dropped from a tall building, He flew very fast, took her in his strong arms and He carried her to her apartment. In some cases, superheroes fell afraid, that is just part of being human but superheroes fight and win a battle.
I Love superheroes because when I was child I dreamed someday I would be able to fly and I would save lives around the world. My favorite superhero is Superman but I like The Flash and Spider man too. People need to believe in superheroes because actually world is dark, dangerous, and mysterious.
Superheroes are also just, a very important quality, all people need to value this quality. The best example of justice, I have ever seen in a movie was in Spider man 2.  The moment Peter Parke r tries to win a lot of money, by fighting against other men. Uncle Ben died and Peter had finally understood that justice is significant and valuable  that stands as a big responsibility. Any superhero can make mistakes and loved ones can die. Superheroes are a kind of very special people because they have more qualities, people reclaim most good actions. Three qualities are essential in a superhero’s life: Bravery, fearless and justice.

WHAT MAKES SOMEONE A SUPER HERO?

A Superhero is a person who has specific qualities like for example: they are fearless, brave and determinate. A person with these qualities pursues justice for others. In some occasions you can see normal people doing extraordinary things. First, fear is not an obstacle; they fight for the right things, for a public cause and hereby show to the world their bravery. Why could we say a superhero needs to be determinate? Well, because they are not easily constrained, no matter whatadversity comes, they confront the situation. Most super heroes are acknowledge for their great actions. Superheroes do not need to have a super power, they could be a normal person, for example: I met a person who fought for right things in her work, the boss did not want to pay their salary, all the employers were mad but nobody said a word to the boss, however, this person was brave and told to the boss they needed their payment, as a result they had their salary 3 hours later, everyone was happy and thankful with the person who was brave. Her name is Rebeca, She said “I do not want just my payment; I am asking you for the salary of all my co-workers”. She resolved to have the payment for everybody and she did it.So, we could say that every person could be a super heroe; it is easy, if you just have the qualities to be one. You must think every day “Here I come to save the day” as Mighty Mouse.

What makes someone a hero?

What makes someone a hero?

A Hero is a person that has a lot of qualities ,someone who can make self-sacrifices for

others, somebody who is determined and searches for justice in every moment, that is

considered a hero.

The first and most extraordinary characteristic of a hero is to self-sacrifice for other

person without receiving nothing in exchange. An example of this is the parents that despite

of adversity can sacrifice their lives, forces and time to help their children pursue their

goal and become a good person.

In addition other important characteristic a hero needs is determination and will to resolve

a problem, an adversity, situations where they need to embody and face problems with

positive attitude until they reach the objective.

Finally the modus operandi of a true hero is always inclined toward justice, truth and

especially help the needy.

I consider that every person can be a hero, the only necessary thing is to aspire to help

other people and become an example to follow.

What makes someone a hero?

What makes someone a hero?

A hero is someone who can make exceptional things for others and himself. First of all, people who are heroes have to be brave; they have to be able to confront hard and dangerous situations and show us their courage over adversity. Second, they are honest. A hero always says the truth no matter the context, they have the resolve to do what is correct and pursue to act as they think and feel. Finally, and not less important a hero is a person with determination. If they aspire to get something, they will make all the necessary things to obtain the expected achievement. For instance, a hero want to get his/her degree, but he/she does not have enough money to pay the University, so he/she will find a job, work hard, save money, sacrifice time, study hard, etc., to approve classes. A hero is a person with very human qualities and is a common citizen, however they can stand out in specific and special moments, whit qualities like the ones we described before.
What makes someone a hero?

We see many  people in our daily life but not everybody looks like someone who can help you as a hero does. For me, a hero can be a person who demonstratesthese qualities: courage, strength, and honesty, in every action that he makes. First, a superhero should have courage, a quality of mind that enables a person to face things that seem difficult and impossible for anybody else but no for him.Sometimes it would be hard to do this but he will not let fear conquer his aspirations to make a good job, a good person, or a good action to help others. Second, a hero that shows courage is necessary for him to have the strength, not only physical strength, also psychological strength to overcome problems that nobody else wants to confront. The strength comes from the necessity to protect those who needs it. Sometimes life would hit him very hard, but at the same time he will not allow it to lay him down. Finally, if a hero’s action is done with honesty, with honorable principles, intentions, and actions; upright and fair, he will probably makes people feel comfortable with him. Nobody wants someone that promises safety or protection and then is not there to do it.

Maybe there are a lot of qualities more important that describes a hero better, but would you trust someone who hesitates to do whatever it takes to make a good action, or someone who does not prove to have the strength to face any adversity, or someone whose word has not a shred of truth?.

Welcome to English Composition B2

English is a multi step process. I have studied English for about 12 years and I have completely fallen in love with all skills involved with the language. I began worrying about my English pronunciation, since I was a Honduran student in an American school, later I worried about reading, because classes would require me to do so. Speaking and listening developed naturally, I did not even notice how those developed. Writing, writing was a whole different world, writing developed along the other skills and I only had to polish it as I continued on my journey to learn proper English.

The purpose of this entry is to explain my English acquisition process in order to explain the methodology used in this course for English acquisition. Please allow me to share my experience as an English student.

I was barely a child of only 12 years of age when I first started interacting with the English Language; many people believe this is the reason why I find English so amusing and such an interesting topic. I started studying in Los Angeles as a 7th grader, completely lost in English, but really eager to begin with my journey. I remember going to classes really happy and motivated until the first day I was ashamed because of my Latin accent and pronunciation. I learned proper pronunciation of words is really important, even if you have a foreign accent, your accent is not what’s important, what matters is not how you sound to others, but rather how well you use words to communicate with others.

Reading, well reading became not only a skill for me, but a passion, reading had a special power over the way I looked at the English language. I first read in schools, because as I mentioned before, we had to, but later on I discovered you can also read for pleasure. Reading for pleasure has been my main aid in English acquisition. Reading has provided me with enough vocabulary to express myself thoroughly with others in many languages, it has taught me various ways to express the same idea differently, it has taught me to think in new ways, ways I could not even imagine before, reading has been my blessing in this language acquisition process.

I thought I had it down (common expression used to say something is done), but I was quite wrong, I still had to manage my writing skills. Writing, I have to admit, was a very difficult task because it is not only about spelling correctly, no, no, no. Writing is a process where all skills in English are required in order for it to work properly. Writing is an integration of skills where Syntax (Sentence formation) meets with grammar, and eloquence meets with tenses and vocabulary. Writing is a process that can only be improved by practice; practicing the different skills in English, writing can be enhanced highly.

English, as you see is a multi step process. English can of course be improved by studying, but its best practice is to use it. Writing will be applied in this class as a tool for communication, but it will be done through different steps and tasks where other skills in Language will be used first in order to shape the final writing outcome we will present as a class. This is Academic Composition; therefore we will work with various genres where our final goal will be to communicate successfully at a B2 academic level of English.

My best wishes in your composition process,

- Leonel Fuentes
My Experience like a Natural Science Student

I'm  going to talk about the Natural Science Career because I'm a Natural Science Student; I started the career in 2012 so I have had a lot of experiences with the teachers, classes and classmates, some of which became friends.
First, I will talk about the teachers, and I would like to say that they are very friendly, funny and intelligent. They help you when you need it and give advice when you are unmotivated. For example they can help you in your research, they send you a lot of articles or  links of wed pages that you can visit or if you have a question about any theme they explain you.  I think that they are a good guides in my career.
In the other hand, the people think classes are too hard, but not of them. for example, for me  Physics and Chemistry are very interesting, I like them, because you must read, analyze and practice exercises; But if you are not motivated maybe you don't want to study for them. One class that I hate most was Calculus II, because I failed the class, and I had never failed a class before. I felt so bad and sad because  I fail Organic Chemistry in the same term. That sounds so funny, but it was a good experience for me; I learned to be more organize and discipline person.
The people that you meet in the career are very special, well not of all them, but the classmates that I had were so honest and I can trust them. I enjoyed with my friends, some terms we had class at 7:00 am and then at 3:00 pm or 5:00 pm, We lived in the University!   so we studied in the library or we slept on the hallways.
I feel a blessed person, because I belong to a good career, I had excellent teachers,  because they are friendly, funny and intelligent people. I had wonderful classmates and they became my friends, they are honest and I can trust them.  And Finally I have good memories about my classes, some of them were hard but with discipline and organize I did it. I feel grateful.
